Since January 1, 2017, together with my sister Inéz, I am the proud owner of WebElect. With a career in HR / human resources (employee and manager), in different companies (semi-government, food and retail), I have dealt with works council elections in different ways. WebElect now organizes much more than just works council elections, a varied challenge for me.

Personally, I am driven by achieving good results and satisfied customers and I am service-oriented. I therefore strive to ensure that an election runs smoothly from start to finish, together with the client's election committee.

In addition to WebElect, I am involved with hunting dogs (sports), and I am active in various (breed) associations as a volunteer. I like being in nature with all its seasons.

Together with my sister Tamara we are the owners of WebElect which was founded by our father. During my studies I was trained in the hospitality business, with a broad base for administration, finance and a constant eye for the customer / guest. These characteristics are very useful to me ainWebElect, where it is important to be accurate and service-oriented and friendly.

After my studies I worked at the Amstel Hotel, an interesting first learning school for my further career. After that I worked for a few years at De Nederlandse Bank and Ahold. Since 2002 I have been an independent entrepreneur and owner of a liquor store / party catering company. I therefore divide my attention between these two companies from now on.

In my spare time I enjoy sports and my family.

My name is Martijn Brands and I have been involved with WebElect since 2015. In my daily life I work as a software engineer / consultant. A good combination for me, because of my background as a service and software engineer in various sectors. I have traveled extensively for my work and have collaborated with many cultures. Searching for solutions and building customized assignments has become my passion. I am also an active water sports enthusiast. I want to convey the feeling of boundless freedom in which everything is possible, if you want it, to my work and to others.
